IS ISRAEL BLACKMAILING AMERICA?
What follows is the original article I wrote when the news story first broke regarding the existence of a system to tap into any phone in America built into the surveillance system used by law enforcement authorities. Several cases were cited where investigations ranging from drug running and money laundering to the events of 9/11 had been compromised by leaks from the company that operated the phone taps as well as phone data from an associated company that handles billing services for almost every phone in America.
Cost of the War in Iraq
Global Eye -- Vanishing Act
It's a shell game, with money, companies and corporate brands switching in a blur of buyouts and bogus fronts. It's a sinkhole, where mobbed-up operators, paid-off public servants, crazed Christian fascists, CIA shadow-jobbers, war-pimping arms dealers -- and presidential family members -- lie down together in the slime. It's a hacker's dream, with pork-funded, half-finished, secretly programmed computer systems installed without basic security standards by politically partisan private firms, and protected by law from public scrutiny. It's how the United States, the "world's greatest democracy," casts its votes. And it's why George W. Bush will almost certainly be the next president of the United States -- no matter what the people of the United States might want.
JetBlue 'Fesses Up, Quietly
The form letter, provided by JetBlue to Wired News, confirmed a Wired News story that JetBlue turned over the names, addresses and phone numbers of its customers in September 2002 in response to an "exceptional request from the Department of Defense to assist their contractor, Torch Concepts, with a project regarding military base security."
The Real Cost Of US Support: For Israel - $3 Trillion
While it is commonly reported that Israel officially receives some $3 billion every year in the form of economic aid from the U.S. government, this figure is just the tip of the iceberg. There are many billions of dollars more in hidden costs and economic losses lurking beneath the surface. A recently published economic analysis has concluded that U.S. support for the state of Israel has cost American taxpayers nearly $3 trillion ($3 million millions) in 2002 dollars.
We met Meacher in Boston: "Both Wars were planned in advance before 9/11"
In an exlusive cooperation, GlobalFreePress arranged an Interview with former British Minister Michael Meacher, which will be broadcasted by INN News Report on Friday, 6PM EST on U.S. Television. Meacher explained, that both Wars against Iraq and Afghanistan were planned in Advance before 9/11; he spoke about the role of PNAC, Oil and Cheney's controversial Energy Task Force in 2001.
Nine Israelis face deportation
NINE Israeli nationals -- who[m] CSIS suspects are possible foreign agents -- were arrested by Immigration and Ottawa police tactical officers last Friday, blocks from Parliament Hill. The nine have all been charged by Immigration for working in Canada illegally. All are in their 20s and were apparently selling art in Ottawa. The arrests follow similar takedowns of Israelis in Toronto and Calgary over the past few weeks. An Ottawa police source said police were told members of the group were possible agents from Mossad, Israel's spy agency, but given no further information by CSIS.
Warning! You Are Being Watched
The reorganization of federal law enforcement agencies into the Office of Homeland Security—along with the myriad new powers granted to law enforcement by Attorney General John Ashcroft—has resulted in an unprecedented consolidation of federal, state, and local law enforcement power.
A Week in the Life of Baghdad: Bombed-Out Wasteland
One of the few government buildings in Baghdad the U.S. didn't bomb and then defended from looters... the Ministry of Oil, of course. The Minstry is a majestic, post-Stalinist-looking structure, now in pristine condition and surrounded by American barricades and machine gun nests. Everything around it, as this picture shows, has been burned to the ground and destroyed beyond recognition, whether from bombs, looting, or both. It's clear that beyond the few "strategic assets" the U.S. chose to protect, there was not plan (or desire) to safeguard anything else. Iraqis are so desperate to return to normal life that I heard many say, "Bush can have our oil if he will just take it and leave us in peace."
VOTE FRAUD AND THE BANKRUPTCY OF THE UNITED STATES
In summary, the combined state and federal debt of the United States now stands at $14 trillion. The United States, the world's largest creditor nation when Ronald Reagan took office, is now the world's largest debtor nation. The federal debt has doubled in the last 8 years, during what is reported to the American people as being a record setting economic boom. During this same supposed economic boom, the federal government looted your social security trust fund for another 3/4 of a trillion dollars to balance the books.
9/11 - ARE AMERICANS THE VICTIMS OF A HOAX?
The time has come to stop using the flag as a blindfold, to stop waving our guns and our gods at each other, to take a close look at the facts which have emerged from the attacks on the World Trade Towers and to recognize the very real possibility, indeed probability, that We The People are the victims of a gigantic and deadly hoax.
Arab League nations attack Israel at nuclear watchdog
Fifteen Arab League states have proposed a resolution condemning Israel at a meeting of the UN's atomic agency for not signing the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), diplomats said Wednesday.
Bush 9/11 Admission Gets Little Play
For months leading up this year's war on Iraq, the Bush administration implied that Saddam Hussein had a hand in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The argument was well-received by Americans, and might have been the single leading factor behind public support for the U.S. invasion of Iraq. An oft-cited poll conducted by The Washington Post last month revealed that 69% of Americans continue to believe it likely that Hussein was personally involved in 9/11. No real evidence to support this has emerged, however, leading some (including E&P, just last week) to declare that the media had failed in its duty to correct the public misperception. So when President George Bush admitted on Wednesday, for the first time, that there was "no evidence that Hussein was involved with the September 11th" attacks, one would assume that would be big news and an opportunity for the press to make up for past failings.
Halliburton's success prompts investigation call
Halliburton's contracts in Iraq have skyrocketed to $2 billion, prompting new calls from lawmakers to investigate the propriety of the deals. Halliburton, formerly run by Vice President Cheney, began work in Iraq with a $37.5 million no-bid contract in February to put out oil fires. That deal, expanded to include pumping oil, is now worth about $948 million, according to Halliburton figures provided to the New York Daily News.
84 Reasons to Trim the Bush
IMF warns trade gap could bring down dollar
The International Monetary Fund yesterday warned that the colossal United States trade deficit was a noose around the neck of the economy, emphasising that the once mighty dollar could collapse at any moment. Arguing that the world's big economies were already too dependent on the willingness of American consumers to live beyond their means, the IMF said the US could not continue to run a current account deficit of 5% of GDP.
AP: No Evidence Iraq Stockpiled Smallpox
Top American scientists assigned to the weapons hunt in Iraq found no evidence Saddam Hussein's regime was making or stockpiling smallpox, The Associated Press has learned from senior military officers involved in the search.
War and the Paper Standard
It is no coincidence that the 19th Century, a time of Gold coin standards for the most part, was an era of peace. Nor is it a coincidence that the 20th century combines war with paper money. -Ron Paul (R-TX), The Ron Paul Money Book, 1991, pg. 32
Cheney's conflict with the truth
ON "MEET THE PRESS" last Sunday, Vice President Dick Cheney said, "Since I left Halliburton to become George Bush's vice president, I've severed all my ties with the company, gotten rid of all my financial interests. I have no financial interest in Halliburton of any kind and haven't had now, for over three years."
September 11th And The Bush Administration: Compelling Evidence for Complicity
Clearly, one of the most critical questions of the twenty-first century concerns why the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 were not prevented. As I outline below, there are numerous aspects regarding the official stories about September 11th which do not fit with known facts, which contradict each other, which defy common sense, and which indicate a pattern of misinformation and coverup. The reports coming out of Washington do very little to alleviate these concerns.
