Operation 9-11: Rendezvous Points
Many people have speculated that the US government deliberately allowed the 9-11 attacks to happen to give them justification for the "War Against Terrorism". There is no moral difference between "allowing someone to be murdered" and murdering someone. And the former is much more likely to go wrong. Is it possible that the US government and their allies may have actually carried out the attacks on 9-11 as a false flag operation?
What are Israel's Loan Guarantees?
The $9 billion in loan guarantees (along with $1 billion in direct aid) comprise a special post-Gulf War II aid package, awarded to Israel on top of the $3 billion in other assistance that the United States gives annually. But with loan guarantees, it's never clear how much money is actually "given": In a perfect world, they wouldn't cost the United States a cent. Israel—or Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan, all of which snagged loan guarantees as postwar rewards—could borrow on the international markets, then pay off the loans completely, leaving the United States with no financial obligation. But Israel has already received nearly $10 billion in loan guarantees from the United States since 1992, and while it has yet to default on any of those loans, this new round of guarantees is intended in part to help Israel pay off the old debt. Which means the United States could be stuck with a bill ranging anywhere from zero to $9 billion plus interest.
HUD Announces Homeless Tracking System
The Department of Housing and Urban Development announced guidelines for "Homeless Management Information Systems" (HMIS). HMIS is a standard system for tracking homeless persons and the services rendered to them. Entities that provide services would collect their names, Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, race, gender, health status (including HIV, pregnancy, and domestic violence), veteran status, and income information. Although the plan does not call for a national, centralized database, the information collected could easily facilitate the creation of such a database in the future. Furthermore, law enforcement, Secret Service, and National Security access to the database would be nearly unlimited.
Mail Tracking System Raises Privacy Fears
A presidential commission proposal to use tracking codes to verify who sends and receives mail through the U.S. Postal Service is getting a chilly reception from privacy advocates who say it could violate civil liberties.
Sex Crimes Cover-Up By Vatican?
For decades, priests in this country abused children in parish after parish while their superiors covered it all up. Now it turns out the orders for this cover up were written in Rome at the highest levels of the Vatican. CBS News Correspondent Vince Gonzales has uncovered a church document kept secret for 40 years. The confidential Vatican document, obtained by CBS News, lays out a church policy that calls for absolute secrecy when it comes to sexual abuse by priests - anyone who speaks out could be thrown out of the church. The policy was written in 1962 by Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani.
The Conceited Empire: A historian credited with predicting the downfall of the Soviet Union in the 1970s now says that the US has been on its way out for the last decade
The power and influence of the United States is being overestimated, claims French historian and demographer Emmanuel Todd. "There will be no American Empire." "The world is too large and dynamic to be controlled by one power." According to Todd, whose 1976 book predicted the fall of the Soviet Union, there is no question: the decline of America the Superpower has already
begun.
U.S. Clamps Secrecy on Warnings Before 9/11
The recent report of the joint congressional committee that probed intelligence failures before the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon reveals what the Bush administration doesn't want Americans to know about the American government. You would not know this from media accounts about this report. They have dwelled on what the Bush administration doesn't want us to know about the Saudi government.
New Security Woes for E-Vote Firm
Following an embarrassing leak of its proprietary software over a file transfer protocol site last January, the inner workings of Diebold Election Systems have again been laid bare. A hacker has come forward with evidence that he broke the security of a private Web server operated by the embattled e-vote vendor, and made off last spring with Diebold's internal discussion-list archives, a software bug database and more software.
The World Trade Center Demolition and the So-Called War on Terrorism
On September 11th, 2001, the 28th anniversary of the CIA-directed military coup d'etat in Chile, terrorists (but not Arab terrorists) took control of four planes and (according to the official story) crashed two of them into the World Trade Center towers, causing fires within. Again according to the official story (pre-written and rushed into print in the mainstream media immediately after the events, together with the identity of the alleged culprit) the fires then caused the steel girders to melt and the towers to collapse.
Your Cellphone is a Homing Device
An E911-capable phone can give your wireless carrier continual updates on your location. The phone is embedded with a Global Positioning System chip, which can calculate your coordinates to within a few yards by receiving signals from satellites. GPS technology gave U.S. military commanders a vital edge during Gulf War II, and sailors and pilots depend on it as well. In the E911-capable phone, the GPS chip does not wait until it senses danger, springing to life when catastrophe strikes; it's switched on whenever your handset is powered up and is always ready to transmit your location data back to a wireless carrier's computers. Verizon or T-Mobile can figure out which manicurist you visit just as easily as they can pinpoint a stranded motorist on Highway 59.
Iraq invasion violated international law: Blix
With unusual candour, the former chief UN weapons inspector Hans Blix today denounced the US-led war on Iraq as a violation of international law, and questioned Washington's motives for the invasion. "I cannot see that the action, in the way it was justified, was compatible with the UN Charter," Blix said, adding that it had undermined the Security Council's authority.
Blueprints for Tyranny
The notion of a conspiracy denotes the presence of a plan. We hear so often of the various plots directed against mankind in general, yet most of us likely feel that, well- they can't all be true… it can't be this bad. Once we realize the plan in action, we can see the logical scenarios enacted and understand the globalist's necessity for them. This is a multifaceted attack on mankind- culturally, mentally, emotionally, and physically. The basic goal is to dumb us down, divide us upon lines of race, religion, and views into easily subdued sects, and- when that doesn't work- just kill the few who stand in the way. The impending world government wants humanity's sole loyalty to itself; this means they'll have to eliminate the two loyalties which supersede the state: family and religion. We've seen both of these drastically undermined for many decades.
White House Faces Disclosure Suit: Group Says Government Had Braced for Anthrax Attacks
Judicial Watch, which also has sued for documents about Vice President Cheney's energy task force, represents U.S. postal workers at the Brentwood post office in the District. Two workers from Brentwood died of inhalation anthrax before officials closed the site, which had handled anthrax-laden letters headed to Capitol Hill. Larry Klayman, chairman of Judicial Watch, said administration officials said last fall that some White House staff members had begun taking the antibiotic Cipro on Sept. 11, weeks before the anthrax attacks were made public.
'Secret' nuclear meeting revealed
Arms control groups say the development of mini nuclear weapons will be discussed tomorrow at a top level meeting in the United States. The conference is taking place at the Strategic Air Command Headquarters at an air base near the city of Omaha in Nebraska. The BBC reports the meeting was supposed to take place in secret.
