The top 100 offenders This table ranks human rights abusers in descending order; the figures in the right-hand column are obtained by multipying a weighted score of abuses by the Human Development Index.
Firms that gave to Bush get contracts All the American firms to get Iraqi reconstruction contracts have bankrolled George Bush and the Republican Party or have direct links to USAID, the department of state handing out the Iraqi contracts. All the contracts are being negotiated in secret - in the interests of national security - and all the contracts will go to US firms.
The Israeli "Movers" Read these stories about those five Israeli "movers" (later confirmed to be MOSSAD secret agents) who were arrested in New Jersey, and held in solitary confinement for 40 days after they were seen cheering the 9-11 attacks. They were also suspected of plotting to bomb the George Washington Bridge. Despite the attempted damage control of some of these pro-Israeli articles, they still present enough hard facts to allow us to easily dismiss the claim that these were innocent Israelis arrested for minor visa violations.
Did Clinton appointee corrupt Flight 800 probe? As deputy attorney general, Gorelick played a key role in shaping – some would say "corrupting" – the outcome of the TWA Flight 800 investigation. Given what she knows, Gorelick could play an even more critical role in determining "prior knowledge" about the events of Sept. 11.
